Congressman Gingrey Touts Manufacturing
Monday, March 8th, 2010Congressman Gingrey addressed the monthly chamber luncheon on Monday and hit many hot button issues. He complemented the commitment of our local manufacturers in maintaining and creating jobs in this economy. Local manufacturing concerns were well represented including Mt. Vernon Mills of Trion and Try-Con Tufters of Lyerly who provided sponsorship for the event.

Newsworthy notes from the Congressman is that a vote on health care will take place the week of March 15 previous to President Obama embarking on an Asian visit.
